What was accomplished is that I got to talk to a lot of poeple about my issue and taught them about the costs of capitalism. I created a paper full of statistics and facts about capitalism and globalization. I gave them examples of what is it, and showed them videos. The people that I talked to was my little cousin, my uncle, my neighbor and my friend, and my grandpa. Only my neighbor and grandpa were the ones that partially knew about capitalism and its negative effects. I asked them questions like, "What does capitalism mean for you?" "How do you think it works?" "Do you think its good and efficient?" Based on those questions I informed them and tried my best to make them aware of the issue. After that I asked them what they think should be done and gave them several ways on how to. It was really hard for me to come up with a solution because my topic is very broad. In the future I will keep doing this and informing people about capitalism and its effects. I dont think I did very well, or up to my potential in creating a possible solution. However, my issue is one of those issues that can only be resovled in the national executive scale. That is the president and congress to create a legislation to regulate capitalism. One minor thing that everyone can do is to talk to our state legislators and tell them how it's directly affecting us as a community. We can also stop buying stuff from sweatshops to stop contributing to globalization as form of protest to pressure corporations to stop exploiting workers. This is really all we can do.
